The tour starts from Zalakaros. We ride to the neighbouring village of Galambok, and in its middle we take the road leading to Zalakomár.

On Zalakomár’s street Petőfi we turn left in the direction of Zalavár. About half way to Balatonmagyaród we have the possibility to visit the buffalo reserve, which is located to the right. If time allows, it is worth wile to pay a visit here. The place is easy to find thanks to the road signs. 

After Balatonmagyaród lies the lake little Balaton, to the left. It’s worth to visit here the island Kányavári and its bridge. Afterward we continue our tour toward Zalavár, and soon we arrive at a sluice / lock, which controls the flowing of the river Zala into lake Balaton. Turning left we leave the main road and continue on the bike road on the shores of lake little Balaton, all the way to the little Balaton lake show centre.

Afterwards we continue on the public road, in the direction of Újszabár. From here we head toward Zalaszabár, then passing through Nagyrada and Garabonc we arrive back at Zalakaros.
