The starting point of the tour is on the Pest side of the bridge Lágymányosi, at the Művészetek Palotája (Palace of Arts) on street Soroksári. We cross the bridge on the bike road, and on the Buda side we continue up to the Lánchíd (Chain bridge) on the bike road. In the meantime, we passed by the university center, the Gellért square, the Gellért hills, as well as the bridges Petőfi and Erzsébet.

At Lánchíd we enter the roundabout at square Clark Ádám and exit to the right, just before the tunnel, starting upward on street Hunyadi János, which takes us up to the castle area. Continuing on street Tárnok, we pass by the Saint Matthew church, the Fishermen’s bastion and finally leave the castle area at the Bécsi gate.

We ride down to square Batthyány on streets Fiáth János and Hattyú. Here we continue on the bike road, all the way up to bridge Árpád (passing by bridge Margit as well), along the bank of the Danube. Passing under the bridge Árpád, we turn around in square Szentlélek and drive up on the bridge, head toward the Pest side, but turn right on the island Margit in the middle of bridge Árpád.

We pass through the island and head to the Pest side once on bridge Margit. On the Pest side we ride on the bike road, from square Jászai Mari to the Parliament, then continue on the Széchenyi quay to the Chain bridge (Lánchíd), and further on to the bridge Erzsébet on the lower Pest quay. Next we ride on the Belgrád quay to the bridge Szabadság.

The busiest section of the tour follows next: we head toward the Vásárcsarnok (Market Hall), but turn right just before it, on street Sóház; we continue on the left-hand sidewalk of the street Közraktár, up to the bridge Petőfi. After the bridge we ride back to the bridge Lágymányosi on the bike road built along the Danube bank.
